Notes

The academic year is divided into 2 semesters, but some electives, internships and guided research classes take place in the summer months.

Semester Hours: 1 S.H. = 15 clock hours in class + 30 hours of study = 45 total hours.

ECTS (European system): 1 ECTS = 25-30 hours of total work (in and out of class).

* Class required for graduation

** Most classes of the 2nd and 3rd year are taught in alternate years.

*** Classes of the language cycle: advanced students may be exempt from 1st year Greek by passing an exam, so that they may move on directly to 2nd year Greek etc., advancing more quickly through the language cycle and having the option of more advanced courses at the end of the program.
